Weather radars across Australia are picking up unusual patterns that have meteorologists baffled. While the BOM confirms there are no notable weather variations, the insect activity are causing confusion in the radar readings. These groups of moths are generating misleading data on the radar, making it difficult to identify between weather systems and insect activity. Meteorologists are working to understand the unusual activity and their possible effects on weather forecasting.
