Laika Studios' stop-motion film 'Wildwood' received great reviews, but the studio experienced a challenging time at the box office. The movie, created by Travis Knight, was made over 16 years, was called a work of art. Even with good feedback, Laika had trouble turning praise into ticket sales. The film succeeded in animation, but its box office results were disappointing.
