Bandai Namco unveiled the Mobile Suit Gundam RG model and the new vision on July 23, 2026. Director Kenji Kamiyama will take the helm for the upcoming anime, planned to premiere in 2027. The project introduces a brand-new Gundam universe, completely separate from prior canon. The XARX-ZERO is tied to the upcoming Gundam Rogue Orbit project. Kamiyama is working to build a original timeline for the franchise.
