Gleeson: Sixers showed fight but not for long enough - Adelaide 36ers

Rakocevic Escapes Suspension Ahead of Melbourne Clash

Adelaide 36ers centre Nick Rakocevic avoided suspension after submitting an early guilty plea over an on-court incident that had triggered an NBL charge. The decision allowed him to play against Melbourne United on 7 October.

His availability made no difference to the result. Adelaide lost the match, with coach Gleeson saying the team played "scared" and failed to compete hard enough. Melbourne United broke out of a difficult stretch with the win.
