Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, has criticized Valve's approach to AI content disclosures, labeling them a political stance. He also drew attention to a old forum post discussing studio closures, which is facing community criticism. Sweeney's remarks were echoed by other sources, comparing Steam's AI disclosures to mandatory political essays and suggesting they resemble requiring developers to provide their voting history.
